On February 14th, 2009, Nike Sportswear will release this special Nike Cortez: Innovation to Innovation Pack, featuring the groundbreaking 1972 original Nike Cortez running sneaker along with 2009’s innovative Nike Cortez Fly Motion—a cutting-edge version of the iconic original that puts a premium on reduced weight in the upper by leveraging Flywire technology—both presented in one strictly limited edition box.
To celebrate this special moment, Nike Sportswear, in partnership with London-based tokyoplastic, a critically acclaimed directing collective, has created a 30 second animated original film inspired by the story of the Nike Cortez: Innovation to Innovation pack, showcasing this story of innovation from Nike Design.
The animated video will premier on the Nikesportswear website on February 14th, 2009.
