Jackie Robinson tore down the color barrier of major league baseball on April 15, 1947. In honor of this historic event, Nike designed this fresh Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix. The sneaker clearly features the Brooklyn Dodgers color scheme of blue, white & grey and Jackie’s number 42 stitched on the back heels, as well as the date “04.15.1947″ on the insoles. Other details include, a speckled pattern around the midsole, a swinging baseball player logo on the heels, and a metallic silver tag of Jackie Robinson. There’s no information on when they’ll release, so stay tuned for more updates.
