Nike Air Mag “Marty McFly” Release? – Patent Filed

Nike Air Mag Marty McFly Release? Patent FiledIt’s been a dream for many sneakerheads to one day own a pair of Marty McFly’s Nike Air Mag shoes from the classic late 80′s sci-fi flick, Back to the Future II. Designed for the futuristic time period of 2015, the shoe  had an innovation design that came off as a moon-boot, and had the coolest features like anti-gravity capability and a mind blowing auto-lacing system.

It may have been 20+ years since we were first introduced to the Air Mag, but Nike still believes they can bring the kicks to life before 2015 truly hits. It’s being reported that Tinker Hatfield  and the Nike camp have recently submitted a patent  for the Nike Air Mag with blueprints detailing a rechargeable, automatic fastening system and a charging dock.

At this point only time will tell if Marty McFly’s Air Mag will finally come to life, maybe a  special 2015 release is already in the works. Until then we can only ponder over the blueprints.
