Murakami is straight up hip-hop just because of his work with Kanye on his album cover, jewelry line and his “Good Morning” video. His style has also influenced fashion/hip-hop artists like Pharrell and Lupe as well. Murakami’s exhibit which features Kanye’s music video is now moving from LA to NY.
