Today we present you with a great pair of custom Nike GR Dunk Highs, “The Veteran’s Day Dunk”. Ron Lodevico aKa !ll created the dunks for Veterans Day at Staples Center during a Clippers game, and the Salvation Army raffled them off. The custom sneakers originally started off as a plain orange and red GR Dunk Hi, but then !ll just had to add his creative touch to the shoes, giving them some life. The shoes now feature a black base and the white for the swoosh and mid sole. Around the the toe of the shoes are jagged orange strips, which works well with the orange laces. The customs really get their army feel from the P.O.W x M.I.A trademark logo on the heel, as well as the added dog tags on the laces. However, thats not all, the shoes also feature Salvation Army lace locks and custom Salvation Army patches on the tongues of the kicks, done by the designers cousin who happens to be an actually Army Veteran. Overall a wonderful pair of custom kickz.
