Vans certainly out did themselves on their latest Vault Sk8-Hi LX which features a subtle, baby blue colorway. This Van Vault yields an upper made of both premium and perforated leather. Black stitching outlines the shoe’s frame and hints of baby blue appears along the midsole, heel, and tongue tags. Topping these kicks off are pair of baby blue laces and a contrasting black inner lining. Check for this Vans model in the coming weeks at your local retailer. Retail $90.

Vans is pulling all the stops to deliver this sophisticated Sk8-Hi LX “Croc Skin” pack, which features 3 models draped in detailed croc patent leather. The 3 sneakers will be available in red, beige and black/white color schemes, with each sporting a solid white midsole, a pair of white laces, and a thin strip of their respected color traced around the sole. The Vans Sk8-Hi LX “Croc Skin” Pack is expected to release during Fall 2009 at select Vans retailers.

Vans is now releasing the 5Boro x Vans Forty-Four High of their West Coast vs. East Coast Collection. Just a few days ago, we were informing everyone about the “Grey / Gold” Forty-Four Hi, but now it’s time for the New York boutique, 5Boro, to drop their version.
Featuring a black/red colorway, the 5Boro x Vans Forty-Four Hi offers a combo of both black leather and suede, as well as pink/red details. The side panels, shoe laces, and tongue represent 5Boro and all the hot spots in New York in pinkish red lettering. There’s even an imprint of a pigeon wearing a crowing placed along the toe.
The 5Boro x Vans Forty-Four High is now available at most Vans retailers like CCS, so check your local skate shop for their availability. Retail $80.

Vans Forty-Four High [Grey / Gold / RipStop]

In February, we presented some pictures of the Vans Forty-Four High Pack, a collection of sneakers designed by established skate shops from the east coast, west coast, Europe, and a mystery designer. Well, we’ve haven’t figured out who the mystery shop/man is, but we did discover the shoe they’ll be contributing to the pack.
Vans innovative new model, Forty-Four High, features a dope Grey / Gold / RipStop color scheme that’s comprised of suede, Ripstop Nylon, and Wool throughout the upper. There’s also white & gold leather along the Vans symbol along the sides and gold accents on the inner lining of the tongue and back heel.
The “Grey/Gold” Forty-Four High will be a east coast exclusive and will only be available on that coast, but BuySkateShoes currently have some in-stock. Retail $75.
Vans Forty-Four Hi | West vs. East Pack

Vans is creating a competition among five well known fashion icons for the release of their new Vans Fourty-Four High, which places the West Coast (Crooks & Castles and a mystery shop) vs. the East Coast ( 5Boro of NYC, UK skater Danny Wainwright, and another mystery shop). Each sneaker features a nice blend of subtle colors and various patterns/materials with three versions equipped with ankle straps. Availability will be exclusive to each coast while the arguably the Danny Wainwright model is slated to drop this month.

In the Summer of 2008, samples for two Crooks & Castles x Vans Sneakers were spotting at the Magic Show that featured a Gucci inspired color scheme as well as an ankle strap, and just a few weeks ago Crooks & Castles confirmed that both colorways would drop in Spring 2009.
Now we’re hearing that the two sneakers will release in the Vans Forty-Four High Pack “West Coast vs. East Coast”. The pack will contain a Crooks & Castles West Coast Edition, 5BoroNYC East Coast Edition, Wainwright Edition, and two unknown store editions. Each pack includes two pairs of sneakers and a t-shirt.
