Supra Footwear: The Dixon [Black] | Early Fall 2009

In late January, we previewed Antwuan Dixon’s signature shoe under Supra Footwear, the Dixon. Just the other day Supra unveiled the first two colorways, a Black and a Carson Blue model. Both styles have a simple all suede design that’s stacked on top of a vulcanized rubber outsole, one white and the other brown. Finishing the kicks off is Antwuan’s name printed along the side and a Supra tongue tag.

Expect to see both colorways at Supra retailers after the release of the Supra TK Society (May 15th).

Supra Skytop 2 (II) Preview

While all the hype over the May 15th release of the Supra TK Society is still growing, Supra is already promoting their next big sneaker release, the Skytop 2 (II).

The Supra Skytop 2 (II) will be the second installment of the beloved Skytop series, and might mark the end of the OG Skytop 1. From this eye popping preview, we can already see that it’s even higher then the Skytop 1 and features a tongue similar the Air Jordan VI (6), as well as a boot-like design.

If you want to be one of the first to see the Skytop 2 (II), then mark your calender for July 22-23rd, because Supra Footwear will unveal the shoe at Huntington Beach during the Agenda Tradeshow.

Supra Skytop Fall 2009 Releases | Preview

Supra Footwear has a shoe-load of new designs prepared for the Fall 2009 season, and today we’re going to take a look at 8 future models of their most popular Supra shoe, the Skytop.

The “Black Kracked” Skytop we shared a week ago is again seen here with it’s vintage full grain leather upper, as well as a similar brown/purple model that goes by the name “Kola Brown”. The Supra NS Grey Tie Dye has inspired the creation of a purple suede model, the “Purple Tie-Dye” Skytop, which features a soft, wrinkled upper. Another borrowed design is the “Militant Green” TuF Skytop that’s clearly inspired by the upcoming Supra TK Society with it’s red outer sole.

The solid black model with hints of red is called the “Black Tape” TuF Skytop that’s made of a duct tape like material and will release with a matching Vaider High and Skylow 1.5. The “Army Blue” Skytop has a solid blue base and the “GBR” Skytop features a combo of green/red/gold patent leather. Last, but now least, is the “Dark Green” Skytop which is composed of 100% green patent leather and yellow accents on the top eyelets. Lil’ Wayne was spotted in his video, Prom Queen, wearing the “Dark Green” Skytop.

All of these Supra Skytops will begin to release in the Fall (June 2009 & July 2009).

The Supra TK Society is gaining a lot of attention, good and bad, while we approach the shoe’s official release, May 15th. In the mist of the growing anticipation, we here at SimplySneakers have added to the hype with our very own Free TK Society Giveaway. In the giveaway, we’re going to allow the winner to pick their prize between the Black Perforated and the Purple Suede model, which just surfaced on eBay.

The “Purple Suede” TK Society yields a predominately purple base made of 100% suede. Like all the TK Society models, this version sports a hidden lacing system, two velcro straps, and a heel so high that it just might cause nose bleeds. Finishing the sneaker off is a vulcanized white sole, two stripes of purple around the midsole, and a purple inner lining.

Supra “Kracked Black” Skytop | Fall 2009

Just last week, we we’re dishing out the news on the Supra Burgundy Vaider High that’s releasing in Fall 2009, but know we’ve discovered one of the Supra Skytops that will also drop in the Fall, the “Kracked Black” Skytop.

The Supra “Kracked Black” Skytop features a vintage, cracked full grain black leather upper that’s slightly similar to the Stubb’s x Supra Skytop that recently released. The leather has a distressed finish with the appearance that the upper is cracking & peeling away. Other details include, a white vulcanized sole, black accents on the midsole, eyelets, and laces, and a black inner lining.

The Supra “Kracked Black” Skytop is scheduled to release in Fall 2009, but there’s already a pair up for auction on eBay.
