Supra Skytop “Zip It Up!” Custom Sneaker

Supra Skytop Zip It Up! Custom Sneaker Does anybody have the direct number to Supra Footwear?!? Because, Brad Douglas aka Red0004 just went bonkers customizing these Supra Skytops, transforming them into a work of art that would make the designers at Supra Footwear salivate if given a slight glimpse.

The sneaker started as a dull, lifeless all-white Skytop but evolved through the pain staking efforts of Douglas and his supply of various textures.

Douglas reconstructed the Skytop from the ground up, adding blue (teal) suede on the upper, black perforated leather along the sides/heel, and white stitching outlining the entire shoe. However, the highlight of the design is the gold zippers decorating the side panels and the matching gold eyelets along the ankle. The custom sneakers are topped off with a pair of black, waxed laces. If you’re a fan of Supra Footwear, then I ‘m sure you will agree that these should be on store shelves ASAP!

Supra TUF Vaider [White] | Spring 2009 Last week, Ben Baller was personally presented with this “White” Supra TUF Vaider by Supra Footwear for his appearance in TK Society’s new music video for their song “Super Stars”. Ben also reports that an extra exclusive Ben Baller x Supra Vaider collaboration is scheduled to release in the coming months.

Like all the sneakers under the Supra TUF line, this Vaider is made of water & abrasive resistant materials, and features a fresh, white leather upper. The “White” Supra Tuf Vaider is expected to drop at Supra retailers at the end of January 2009.

Earlier today, I stumbled across the “Rose Gold Foil” Supra Terry Kennedy Pro Model up for auction on eBay. This auction provides the most up-to-date pictures detailing Kennedy’s upcoming Supra “TK Society” Signature shoe. The sneaker sports an eye-catching, glittery gold upper with an usually high ankle that contains two velcro straps. In addition, Kennedy’s “TK” logo is placed on the heel & insoles, a pair of white & black laces are thrown in, and of course there’s a white rubber midsole. Based on the tags attached to the shoe, this is a Development Sample that was created back in August and the public release is set to drop in the Summer of 2009 (March). Since these are just samples the shape and design is still undergoing changes. The sample Supra Terry Kennedy Pro Model [Rose Gold Foil] is now available on eBay for a buy now price of $300. Supra TK Society Terry Kennedy Pro Model [Black / Red] Over the weekend, Ben Baller joined Terry Kennedy, Fleix, and Hitman at Paul Rodriguez’s (P-Rod) skate park for the taping of the new Fly Society music video, “Super Stars”, which features nothing but Supra Footwear. At the taping Kennedy was seen wearing a sample pair of his signature Supra sneakers, the “TK Society”. According to Ben Baller, the Supra “TK Society” Pro Model will official release in-stores on May 1st, 2009 in this Black/Red colorway.

It was highly sought after for it’s fresh design of gold perforated leather / black patent leather accents as well as the small touch of Supra logos imprinted along the sides. This Supra Skytop was considered a limited release with only a select number of pairs shipped to each Supra retailer. So, if you were unable to get a pair then try eBay because there’s a nice selection of sizes available.
