For Spring 2009, saturated spring tones gain depth and subtlety in luminescent leather finishes and iridescent metal weaves. Bridging classic sport, modern design and refined casual fashion, PF continues to set the standard in fine sneakers.
This “court couture” style is a favorite in a 70-year PF Flyers tradition of creating styles that merge fashion with a classic sports shoe. The clean-lined, low-top court silhouette of the Albin unites the shape of a dress shoe and the wearability and comfort of a sneaker. This style features welt-stitch joining of the upper and outsole, luxury linings as well as Abzorb, the latest Posture Foundation insole for state-of –the-art comfort.
Updated for the spring 2009 season in silver Italian embossed leather, black Italian embossed leather, white Italian oiled canvas and black Italian oiled canvas, brown full grain Aniline leather, tan Italian Aniline leather, black wrinkled Italian leather/patent and white crinkled patent leather. The Albins are available now on Zappos and Nordstroms. Retail $120/130.

A few days ago, the Rocawear R+ Evolution was introduced the world and the feedback so far hasn’t been pretty. Many are comparing them to the widely popular Air Yeezy and some even calling them out as a cheap imitatation of the Nike RT1 and Supra Skytop.

Omarion’s Signature Shoe: The Oboi’s
April 23, 2009 by Roland | 2,919 Views
Earlier this week, Omarion leaked two photos of his brand new sneaker line on his twitter page which are going by the name, The Oboi’s. Omarion claims that the shoe line will cater to dancers like himself, and will be available in a variety of different colors for both men and women.
The images that leaked show two different colorways, one white and the other red. The over all design of the Obio’s put you in the mindset of the Nike Air Yeezy. Basically, the shoes look like straight up rip-offs of Kanye’s design, all the way down to the interlocking velcro straps, long tongue, and chunky base.
There’s no release date set for when they’ll debut in stores, but I have a feeling between Nike, Kanye, and some disgruntle Air Yeezy fans, these shoes may never reach stores shelves (maybe).
Etnies Helps Thousands Of Homeless
April 15, 2009 by Roland | 99 Views
Over the last decade, Etnies has flowed more than 25,000 pairs of shoes to homeless people living in Los Angeles! The current tough economic times have led to the rise of homeless people in L.A., and on May 10th (Good Friday) Pierre Andre and a crew from Etnies hung out with the Skid Row residents. Etnies teamed up with the Los Angeles Mission to break through some of the doom and gloom, and provided more than 2,000 men, women, and kids with a hot meal and a brand new pair of Etnies shoes.
“In these tough economic times, there is more reason than ever to help those in need and give back to the causes that touch your heart – for me this is the Los Angeles Mission,” said etnies owner Pierre Andre Senizergues. “For over 10 years my team and I have donated thousands of shoes to the homeless on Skid Row and this year will be no different. Not only because the need will be greater, but because it is this small contribution that can make a difference in someone’s life.”
