Nike “Jason Voorhees” Premium Dunk High Customs

Nike Jason Voorhees Premium Dunk High CustomsMizzee Customs received a massive amount of requests for the Nike “Friday the 13th / Jason” SB Dunk he created back in April for Sneakfiend. The custom was based on Jason Voorhees, a fictional mass murderer of the classic 1980’s horror film series “Friday the 13th”. With the remake of the first movie of the franchise only weeks away (Feb. 13th ‘09) from releasing, a customer asked Mizzee to re-created that same Dunk. Unlike the original design, Mizzee was given complete creative control over this new model, which allowed him to do an overhaul of the whole sneaker from the ground up.

This “Jason Voorhees” Dunk High features a premium leather upper with some amazing red/black artwork that showcases Jason decapitating a terrified male victim in great detail. There’s also a matching custom box included as well. See detailed pictures of the custom sneaker and the video trailer for the upcoming remake of “Friday the 13th” after the jump. Nike “Flint Marko / Sandman” Dunk High Customs

Nike Flint Marko / Sandman Dunk High CustomsSpiderman 3 was a big box office success last summer and currently ranks as the second highest-grossing superhero film of all-time (right behind “The Dark Knight”). Being the third film of the Spiderman film franchise, it placed Spiderman (Peter Parker) against not only Venom (Brock), Green Goblin 2 (Norman Osborn) and the Sandman (Flint), but himself as well due to an alien symbiote.

In emmanueLabor’s latest custom sneaker design, he took the opportunity to create this “Flint Marko / Sandman” Nike Dunk High, a sneaker concept that’s been in the making long before the Spiderman 3 trailers even began to leak on Youtube. The sneaker displays grey suede around the lacing/toe area with alternating green stripes / brown canvas around the back heel, which represents the Sandman’s clothing. In addition, the custom features a sand-like texture that covers the tongue, Nike swoosh, and the see-thru side panels, plus green stitching that outlines the entire upper. Spiderman fans and sneaker connoisseurs alike should really appreciate the time, effort, and skill that went into such a creative custom design. Nike “Good Guy Doll” SB Dunk Custom Sneaker

Nike Good Guy Doll SB Dunk Custom SneakerIf you grew up in the early 90’s then you probably remember the 1988 horror film Child’s Play. The movie was based on the Good Guy Doll that was created by Don Mancini, a fictional doll which ended up being possessed with the soul of a serial killer, Charles Lee Ray aka “Chucky”.  All Good Guy dolls were identical in appearance, donning red and white shoes, blue overalls with construction helmets and hammers drawn on them, rainbow shirts underneath the overalls, a large head with freckles on the face, blue eyes and red hair.

In a recent custom sneaker design “Lotta Air Below” created a pair of Nike SB Dunks based on the Good Guy Doll for Halloween. The sneaker features an upper made of jean-like material decorated with all the same symbols that appear on the overalls of the doll. In addition, there’s button-down flops on the toebox with the words “Good” & “Guy” snitched in red, multi-colored stripes on the side panels that represents the doll’s rainbow shirt, insoles depicting a cartoon image of the Good Guy Doll, and a custom shoebox.  See detailed pictures and a video of one of the original Good Guy Dolls after the jump.

Nike “Digg” Air Force 1 (One) Customs

Nike Digg Air Force 1 (One) CustomsSolebrother recently had the opportunity to create a custom sneaker for Matt Van Horn of Digg (the world’s largest social news website), which resulted in this “Digg” Air Force One Custom. The sneaker presents a spiffy Digg color scheme of blue and two shades of green, which represents the Digg top menu, as well as manilla, which represents the Digg Icon that appears next to each Digg post. However, the best part about the sneaker is the cool glow-in-the-dark “Digg” patterns that appear along the side panels. There was a total of six pairs made, five pairs were given to the Digg Staff and the sixth pair was signed by Kevin Rose (Founder of Digg), Jay Adelson (CEO of Digg), and then given back to Solebrother. See detailed pictures after the jump.
