Nike [Barack Obama] Custom Dunk

Nike [Barack Obama] Custom Dunk

TTK is back once again with another great pair of custom sneakers, the Nike [Barack Obama] Custom Dunks. This time he gained inspiration from the heated presidential race, making these artistic Obama Dunks. TTK received a lot of requests to make some customs with this concept, so he finally sat down and began working on these beauties for the recent Funk Master Flex Sneaker Battle. When he attended the Sneaker Battle this past week he didn’t take home any prize money but he was overwhelmed with praise for his design. The shoes feature patent leather with a blue colorway, two portrait pictures of Obama on the heels, black abstract designs thought out the sneaker, and Obama’s logo. Checkout the creation of the custom sneakers from beginning to end after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Nike [Wu-Tang] Custom Dunk Low

CH1C0 has always wanted a pair of Wu Dunks but never really had the money to pick them up, so he took it upon himself to make his own customized pair, the Nike [Wu-Tang] Custom Dunk Low. He didn’t want to make an exact copy of the shoes, so he put his own little twist into the custom sneakers. The Nike Dunks features a colorway consisting of yellow, black, and a hint of gold on the Nike swoosh, he also created insoles sporting the Wu Emblem. The tongue was left white with another Wu Emblem tagged on, and an interesting specked design on the white mid soles. Read the rest of this entry »

Nike Custom [Triggerfish] Dunk

Nike Custom [Triggerfish] Dunk

This is another custom sneaker creation by TTK, the Nike Custom [Triggerfish] Dunk. This project was a team effort with the collaboration of TTK and a good friend of his, which they’ve been working on since September of last year (2007). The design of the Nike Dunk was based on the species of fish known as the Triggerfish. This took some time and effort to develop for the two customizers, especially since this design is drastically different from TTK’s usually designs. The sneakers feature a colorway exactly like the Triggerfish: an all black base, white dots wrapped around the heel, coral designs on the toe-box, and black fur on the top of the heels. In my opinion the custom sneaker looks great and was worth all the time/effort that was put into them.
