Nike [Superstar] Dunk Hi Custom Light Up (Lupe Fiasco Inspired)

Evolved Footwear just finished their newest pair of custom sneakers that they’re calling, the Nike “Superstar” Dunk Hi. This sneaker features an overall concept inspired by the well known hip hop artist, Lupe Fiasco and his hit summer music video, Superstar. The sneaker embodies several key elements taken from the music video, including a clean blue colorway decked out with confetti designs and smoke patterns along the toe and lace holes, and a cool “red carpet” tongue. But, the highlight of the sneaker has to be the light up ability that really sets this sneaker apart from all the rest. See more pictures and a video of the sneakers after the jump.

Manu Ginobli of the San Antonio Spurs is probably cooped up at home nursing his battered ankle, preparing himself for the long road to recovery for the upcoming NBA season. Even though, Ginobli will be nursing his injury for reminder of the off-season, Nike is releasing a new Nike Dunk in his honor. This sneaker features a Grey, White, and Black colorway inspired by the Spurs team colors with images of his trademark maneuvers along the back heel. Currently there’s no set release date for this sneaker or official word that they will release to the public, but stay tuned to RepCodes for any updates.

Nike [Till Death Do Us Apart] Dunk Low Customs

Nike [Till Death Do Us Part] Dunk Low Customs

Soleclean recently created these custom sneakers for his significant other which he named, the Nike “Till death do us apart…” Dunk Lows. He decided to customize a pair of his girl’s old beaters that were mainly used for P.E. after several months of subtle hints that, “stores don’t retail cool shoes in his girlfriend’s size (5)”. The sneakers take on an overall theme of love with the phrase “Till death do us apart…” wrapping around the lace-holes and toe-box, the tongue tags showing a man and women interlocking hands into the form of a heart, and pictures of Soleclean’s girlfriend painted along the back heel. This custom also features a nice blue and black colorway with silver designs placed around the toe-box, a dripping black Nike swoosh, and some cool barbwire designs stretching around the back heel. Nike [Chamillionaire] Dunk Trainer Custom Sneaker

Here’s a pair of custom sneakers that Sekure D pulled all the stops on back in 2006 which he named the “Chamillionaire Dunk Trainer”. The sneaker sports a sick green colorway on a leather upper with some crazy dragon skin designs. The back heel and Nike swoosh features a dark green colorway while the rest of the sneaker has a lime green color scheme. Sekure added some dragon skin designs along the side panels, lace holes and on the toe-box to give the sneakers a reptile feel which helps them earn their Chamillionaire name. The dunks are topped off with a pair of fat green laces and given a sleek white tongue. Checkout more pictures after the jump.

If you liked the Back to School Dunk Hi by Nike from last year then your going to love this new design for this year’s release. This dunk features an abstract scribble design which resembles the use of crayons as well as a clean yellow bottom sole, Nike swoosh, and pair of laces. There’s currently no release date information for the sneakers but they’re rumored to be a Quickstrike release for September. Here’s the last of the Nike SB samples for today, the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low Premium, nicknaming “The Joker”. The upper of this sneaker features a suede/canvas material with a purple, black, and green colorway. The side panels consist of a purple and black plaid pattern, with the areas around the lace holes and toe sporting a purple colorway as well. The toe-box and back heel is made of a green canvas along with a white Nike swoosh, and black and red laces. There’s no release date info available for these shoes, but they’re expected to drop sometime in the Spring of 2009.
