Nike SB Box Turns Blue

Nike SB Box Turns BlueNike SB has a new found love for blue and it clearly shows with their decision to change things up with the Nike SB box. This isn’t the first time the Nike SB box has changed and it probably won’t be the last. Over the years there’s been 7 different color changes (white, purple, black, orange/brown, silver, pink & gold) and this blue box will be the fifth.

The first Nike SB model to use this color  was the “Made For Skate” Nike SB Blazer, which was limited to only 24 pairs.  Now, the April 2009 Nike SB Releases are being packaged inside of them, and this will continue throughout the year.

Supreme x Nike SB Zoom Bruin | Summer 2009

Supreme x Nike SB Zoom Bruin | Summer 2009Thanks to the latest issues of  Shoes Master & Complex magazine, we’re able to provide this information on an upcoming collaboration between Supreme and Nike SB.

These two fashion heavyweights are planning to release a series of 4 different pairs of the Nike SB Bruin, a red, green, black and a off white colorway. Each shoe features the words “World” &  “Famous” on the heels, gold insoles labeled with the Supreme logo, and a metallic finish on the Nike swoosh.

The Supreme x Nike SB Zoom Bruin Series should begin to drop during Summer 2009 with each shoe retailing at $98.  Stay tuned for more updates.

Nike SB Dunk Low | Toxic Avenger

Nike SB Dunk Low | Toxic Avenger Rough images of this Nike SB Dunk have many people peculating that Nike SB will be releasing a sneaker inspired by the 1984 comedy horror film Toxic Avenger, sometime in the near future. The mixture of  brown, tan, toxic green, olive green and pink coats the shoes which are colors directly connected to the mutated superhero,  Toxic Avenger.

No release date information is currently available, but the “Toxic Avenger” Nike SB Dunk Low is expected to release no later than Fall 2009. Stay tuned for more updates. See detail pictures & the original trailer for the Toxic Avenger movie after the jump.

Nike SB April 2009 Releases

Nike SB April 2009 ReleasesWith less than a week left in March, here’s a look at the upcoming April 2009 releases that Nike SB as in store for us all. The collection features a total of 6 sneakers, a Dunk High, Dunk Mid, Dunk Low, Blazer High Elite, Blazer Low, and a Zoom Tre A.D.

The SB Dunk High looks like an altered version of the “Heaven’s Gate” SB Dunk High that got scrapped back in 2008. The SB Dunk Mid appears to be the “Workwear” SB Dunk Mid we posted months ago that featured a simple beige/black color scheme with wrench graphics on the insoles. The SB Dunk Low is like the little brother version of the “Venom” Dunk High that released at the beginning of the year. The Blazer High Elite model has a sleek brown leather / suede design, while the last two models, the Zoom Tre A.D & Blazer Low, have a Chicago Bulls inspired theme of red, black, & white.

The Nike SB April 2009 Releases are now are at select Nike SB retailers like CCS.

Nike SB Zoom P-Rod II (2) | Elephant Print

Nike SB Zoom P Rod II (2) | Elephant PrintNike SB has taken a few pointers from Jordan Brand and will be dropping this new Nike SB P-Rod II (2) inspired by the classic “True Blue” Air Jordan III (3).

Apparently, this P-Rod II (2) features a white leather upper with large sections of elephant print designs around the toe and back heel, as well as a contrasting blue inner lining. The side panels sport a quilted pattern while the Nike swoosh, heel, and laces all come in black. Expect to see this model popping up sometime during Summer 2009.

Nike SB Zoom P Rod III (3) | Midnight Fog / Sport RedHere’s a detailed look at the second model of the soon-to-release Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III (3) series, the “Midnight Fog”.

This version consists of a brown suede upper with a sport red Nike swoosh & shoe laces.  A quilted-like pattern covers the side panels, there’s mesh on the tongue, and leather accents on the toe and heel.

The “Midnight Fog” Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III (3) is set to release sometime in October 2009, but we’ll keep you posted.
