The Brazilian division of Nike SB is set to release a series of three Nike SB Dunk Lows which pays homage to the musical portion of the skateboarding world. The designers of the series decided to travel back to the 80’s and 90’s to gather inspiration, because that was before the MP3 Player takeover when music was rooted to the streets.  With that said, the designers chose the Sony Walkman, FITA K7 (Compact Cassette), and Headphones to best represent the three custom dunks.  The first sneaker we would like to present is the Sony Walkman inspired design, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Rodrigo Peterson”.  This sneaker features an interesting work of etched laser designs on brown leather with the symbols of the buttons for play, stop, fast forward and rewind imprinted on the toe-box, side panels, and the tongue. There’s also graphics of the Sony Walkman Sports on the insoles and the shirts which are sold separately. This pair will be on November 13th in Brazil and limited to 480 pairs worldwide.

Last week we presented a preview of the Nike SB Superheroes & Villains Pack, but just like the Nike SB Zoom Tre A.D. [Air McFly] this pack is available for pre-order.  The pack consist of the Nike SB “Spiderman”  Dunk Mid (red/blue/black), Nike SB  “Storm Trooper” Dunk High (black/white), and the Nike SB”Batman” Dunk Mid (grey/black/yellow). Each Nike Dunk is available for pre-order at Industrial Rideshop and retails between $85-90 with an estimated shipping date of December 15th.

This Nike SB features a metallic silver upper and mesh toe with blue speckles along the bottom, and a Nike Swoosh that has a cool glow in the dark effect.
