Nike is having a field day with all these sneakers inspired but video game consoles lately (Nintendo, Atari, & Playstation) , but Nike is now planning to add the Nintendo Wii into the mix in the upcoming Summer of 2009. Nike is set to release a pack of four sneakers, a Nike Air Force 2, Nike Air Force II High, Sky Force High, Air Max 95, and a Nike Blazer. Leading off from the pack is this Nike Air Force 2 High which features a white and grey colorway, see-thru side panels, and a gum sole. There’s also some glossy material that wraps around the back heel, safari print around the toe, and the Wii logo on the tongue.

Here’s the latest Nike Air Force II (2) that recently surfaced online, which has a design based on the classic gaming system, Atari. The sneaker sports a black leather upper with a mesh toe-box, and black wood grain designs along the heel and around the toe. The mid-sole also features a sleek, brown wood grain finish and there’s some “game select” wording along the top of the heel. Currently, there’s no release date set, but stay tuned for more info.

This pack, containing an Air Flight ‘89 and Air Force 2, is dedication to the Beijing 2008 Olympics, with both shoes featuring a clorway for green/white/black. The color combine on both shoes works great, having each color balanced in the amount used. But, the hint of gold used on the Air Flight ‘89 makes them my personal favorite from the pack, give them that extra flare. Read the rest of this entry »
