On December 26, 2004, a massive undersea earthquake took place in the India Ocean that resulted in a powerful tsunami, the Boxing Day Asian Tsunami, which killed over 225,000 people along the bordering land. To commemorate this tragic event, Briezrs created a pair of custom sneakers, the “Tsunami” New Balance. The shoe has a simple red / white / black color scheme with graphics around the toe & heel to resemble the crashing dark waves and swirling winds that engulfed the coast of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, and Maldives.
