In celebration of the Kevin Durant’s Rookie of the Year title from last year, Nike is releasing this new KD1 Spring 2009. This “Rookie of the Year” KD1 sneaker carries the Oklahoma City Thunder colors of orange, teal blue, and black with hints of yellow around the ankle and multi-colored stitching along the sides. There’s also some nice orange / blue speckled designs on the midsoles, Nike swoosh, and inner lining. Expect to see them in stores at most Nike retailers in February 2009.

Seeing this New York inspired Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) isn’t much of a surprise with all the talk surrounding the Knicks wanting to scoop up Lebron James in 2010. Borrowing New York’s nickname, “The Big Apple”, this latest Zoom Lebron VI (6) consists of a “candy apple” red perforated leather upper with patent leather accents on the Nike swoosh and toe. Other details include, graphic designs on the insoles and a speckled midsole. The Zoom LeBron VI (6) “Big Apple” will release on Black Friday, Nov. 28th at Niketown, House of Hoops NY, and Alife Rivington Club for a retail price of $140. Nike recently released a trio of Nike Power Max Player Exclusives that were made specifically for Paul Gasol of the Los Angeles Lakers, David West of the New Orleans Hornets, and Greg Oden of the Portland Blazers. The Paul Gasol PE features a black leather upper, purple leather wrapping around the midsole, and a gold Nike swoosh. There’s also Max Air Technology in the soles for more comfort and better performance. Oden’s shoes were designed with clarity and precision and carries the signature colorway of the Portland Blazers of red/black/white and the same Max Air Technology. Rounding off the Nike Power Max PE Pack is the David West Player Exclusive that sports the New Orleans Hornets colors of black, purple, and aqua as well as a full length Max Air unit in the soles. This Nike Lebron VI (6) Yankees recently dropped exclusively at the House of Hoops featuring a clean white and blue colorway. The upper sports blue suede while the toe box features plain white leather surrounded by glossy patent leather. The midsole is splint into several sections by blue threading, the laces are intertwined by white and navy threads, and the back heel is labeled with the date 3/5/2008, the day Lebron James scored 50 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds against the New York Knicks.
