According to Dr.Jays, Jay-Z was recently seen with Fendi head Karl Lagerfeld at a New York Fendi photo shoot. But Jay wasn’t there to watch the shoot…he WAS the shoot. One must applaud Diddy’s business sense. Not only has his “Making the Band” show given him millions in producer and owner fees from MTV, but more important, the show allows Diddy to market whatever the heck he wants to millions of viewers for free. For example, his Sean John shirt shown here is a reference to the phrase he made in this season’s “Making the Band.” Now this shirt will be sold at places like Dr Jays. Genius. He could basically say “I love cats” is the cool thing to say on his show and then make a t-shirt that says “I love cats” and somehow, somewhere people buy it… Read the rest of this entry »
