If you liked the recent “A Tribe Called Quest” Air Jordan I (1) High Strap, then you might want to pick up this Air Jordan PHLY High that features that same theme.

The sneaker features a predominantly black leather upper, a fabric design of  A Tribe Called Quest’s cover art from the Midnight Marauders album on the sides, and green/ red accents on the midsole, inner lining, and tongue.  For now, there’s no release date information available but stay tuned for updates.

[Video] Bow Wow’s Starbury Vroom 1 Sneaker

Bow Wow recently signed with Stephon Marbury’s shoe company, “Starbury”, and now he plans to release his very own affordable basketball shoe under the line. In this video he talks about the new name for his seaker, the Vroom 1, and  expresses this concerns about the shoe’s design.

Nike Dunk High [Coraline] | Detailed Pics

Earlier this month we shared some detailed pictures of this limited edition Nike “Coraline” Dunk High, and now we’ve able to show these detailed pictures that feature the sneaker’s glow-in-the-dark effect.

The “Coraline” Nike Dunk High yields a unique upper made of hand stitched tweed canvas, a cat & mouse lace lock with matching tails, a special shoebox,  and a cool glow-in-the-dark bottom sole. A total of 1000 pairs will be made; 100 pair will contain jumbo button, 3 pairs of laces, and 50 boxes are said to contain actual props from the movie.

The only way to receive a pair is to watch the movie, which opens February 6th,  and wait for a secret code after the credits. More detailed photos & video preview after the jump.

Bathing Ape Bapesta | Croc-Skin Spongebob Edition

2009 marks the 10th Anniversary of the cartoon show Spongebob Squarepants and it seems Pharrell Williams & A Bathing Ape might have something in the works to celebrate this milestone.

Pharrell recently posted some mysterious pictures of himself wearing these Spongebob Bapestas on his blog. They have a striking resemblance to the 2008 version that A Bathing Ape released just a few months ago but with a little twist to the design.

The sneaker sports a sophisticated yellow crocodile skin theme, a white midsole, a gum sole, and a picture of Spongebob’s face by the heel. Currently,  there’s no real info available on a release date but check back for more updates.

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton High Top Sneaker | [Grey / Brown / Magenta]

Over the weekend, Kanye West was spotted wearing another one of his upcoming Louis Vuitton Collaboration Sneakers, a new high-top model.

The sneaker consists of  mostly grey suede/nubuck  on the upper, a section on brown suede/nubuck on the back heel, two adjustable velcro straps, and a padded heel. There’s also a pair of leather tassels thrown in, white patent leather outlining the tongue, and a rubbery magenta midsole.  See detailed pictures after the jump.

Kanye West x Louie Vuitton Shoe [Red / Red]

The next installment in Kanye West’s upcoming Louis Vuitton Collection has been revealed. A few weeks ago we shared the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Boat Shoe but now we’re able to show off Kanye’s new Red on Red model.

This Kanye West x Louie Vuitton Sneaker has an upper entirely covered is red leather with sections of red nubuck/suede along the sides, toe, and heel.  The back heel sports a quilted flap that’s said to be inspired by the collar of a jacket worn in the sci-fi movie Dune, an interlocking Louie Vuttion “LV” symbol is placed on the tongue, and LV monograms appear on the back portion of the midsole.

This is just the second model of the Kanye x Louis Vuitton Collection to surface and there’s still four more we haven’t even seen yet. So, stay tuned for more updates. Slated to release June 2009.
