The Memphis Tigers suffered a crushing defeat last week against the University of Mizzou in the NCAA Tourney. Now the team is sitting at home watching the Final Four from afar saying to themselves, “That could have been us!”.  Well, thanks to King James, they have a little something to look forward to now, the “Memphis Tigers” Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) PE.

The Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6)  – University of Memphis PE features a smooth blue suede upper, black leather on the toe & midsole, a black leather midfoot strap, and the Memphis Tigers logo on the heel.  Currently, these are just samples that will eventually be given to the team, but there’s a chance they could get release to the public. Over the pass few months, we’ve posted plenty of pictures of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) “Superman”, which features a blue upper that’s paired with a white patent leather toe area and hints of red/gold accents. Several NBA players have claimed this nickname, Shaq, Dwight, and now Lebron, well at least his shoes in this case.

Today, March 20th, they finally became available to the public. All three of the House of Hoops stores (Chicago, NYC, & Los Angeles) currently  have the “Superman” Lebron VI (6) in-stock while supplies last.  If your unable to get them in-store then checkout the deals on eBay.

Lebron James was one of that last few NBA prospects to get drafted straight from high school, never taking the opportunity of getting a year of college ball under his belt. However, that’s not stopping him from reppin’ the University of Arkon in this new Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) model. The shoe honors his hometown and the University of Akron with a navy/white/gold colorway, and various materials that include patent leather, smooth leather, and sections of woven fabric that showcases detailed graphics of the city streets. The Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) “Akron” will release this Friday, March 13th, at the House of Hoops.
