Back in September we presented a pair of KAWS x Nike Air Max 90 Premium Samples, but today we’ve stumbled upon some detailed pictures. The sneaker features the “XX” symbol stitched in neon along the toe-box with an upper made of leather, mesh, and suede. The sneaker also features a special the “XX” symbol on the lace lock and a pair of neon/white laces. KAWS last project with Nike was his contribution to the 1World Collection. Evolved Footwear just finished his latest custom sneaker, the Nike “illuminated elEFant” Dunk Hi, which is pictured to the left. He created them after several people suggested the his recent illuminated customs were to “loud” during the day, so he decided to tone down his latest design. This custom features a simple white colorway with grey and black elephant print that wraps around the toe-box, lacing, and back heel. They also include a pair of grey laces, custom shoebox, and of course is ever popular light up technology around the side panels which can either flash or glow. Each light runs on one AAA battery that is also included and comes in a choice of 7 colors. The “illuminated elEFant” is now available in sizes 8-13 at Evolved Footwear’s Online Shop. Air Jordan Retro IX (9) & X (10) Marcus Jordan PE

Back in July we posted Marcus Jordan’s Air Jordan Retro IX (9) PE that MJ made exclusively just for him, but recently two more of his Air Jordan Player Edition (PE) sneakers surfaced online, another Air Jordan Retro IX (9) and an Air Jordan Retro X (10). The AJ9 consists of a white leather upper with black leather around the lacing and yellow stripes. Marcus’s “Rising Stars Gold AAU” team number is also stitched in yellow on the back heel. The AJ10 features an upper with a combination of black leather and grey suede, and yellow accents. These sneakers won’t be released to the public and for now can’t be found on eBay. Air Jordan XX3 (23) – Carmelo Anthony – All Star West PE

Here’s a pair of extremely rare Air Jordan XX3 (23) PE sneakers that were made specifically for Carmelo Anthony during the 2008 All-Star Game in New Orleans. Only two pairs were ever made, the one that Carmelo wore during the All-Star Game and this pair which was made as an alternate pair in case some happened to the original set. The upper features the standard Western Conference colors of dark maroon and white with gold accents. This sneaker is currently up for auction on eBay, and last time I checked the bidding was up to $3,400.

If your familiar with the nursery rhythm above, then you’ve probably seen one of the many “Nightmare on Elm St.” movies that featured the classic horror character, Freddy Kruger. Recently, THIRST was inspired by Freddy in the design and concept of his latest custom sneaker, which he’s calling the “Freddy Kruger” Air Force One. The overall design embodies the pure essence of Freddy Kruger and reminds you of all the terrifying events that took place on Elm St. The sneaker includes Freddy’s trademark sweater print on the side panels, blood stains splattered around the heel, and Freddy’s sickening flesh wounds along the toe-box. THIRST also added a custom Nightmare on Thirst St. sign on the tongue and turned the Nike swooshes into metal claws. See more pictures after the jump.

Inspired by the 90’s cartoon show “Rocko’s Modern Life”, PaperBag_Goods created these custom Nike Dunks based on Rocko’s trademark shirt. PaperBag_Goods didn’t use that exact same colors as the shirt, but instead used similar color tones that allowed the sneaker to have more of a pop and contrast feel along the main panels. Besides the designs the sneakers also consist of a nice purple suede upper, a pair of grey laces, and a grey Nike swoosh. Rocko’s Modern Life was one of PaperBag_Goods favorite cartoons and he use to watch it all the time with his older brother, so as a present he gave the dunks to his brother this past Christmas.
