Nike “Mannie McFly” Dunk High Customs

Nike Mannie McFly Dunk High CustomsEmmanueLabor is back once again with another pair of custom sneakers based on the  Marty McFly Hyperdunk.

During the Summer of 2008 EmmanueLabor created the “Mannie McFly” Nike Air Force One, which was named after his nickname (Mannie). However, not fully satisfied with the AF1 as the base, EL planned to apply the same concept on a Nike Dunk High sometime in the future. Well, recently EL found some spare time and would like to present the new/improved “Mannie McFly” Dunk High.

This Dunk Hi version features  a teal / aqua color scheme with flywire along the sides and back heel.  Other details include, a white mesh tongue, splatter designs on the lacing area / heel, and a pair of pink & white laces. The sneaker is topped off with the “Back to the Future” logo and the year  “2015″  on the tongue tags.

Supra Skytop “Zip It Up!” Custom Sneaker

Supra Skytop Zip It Up! Custom SneakerDoes anybody have the direct number to Supra Footwear?!? Because, Brad Douglas aka Red0004 just went bonkers customizing these Supra Skytops, transforming them into a work of art that would make the designers at Supra Footwear salivate if given a slight glimpse.

The sneaker started as a dull, lifeless all-white Skytop but evolved through the pain staking efforts of Douglas and his supply of various textures.

Douglas reconstructed the Skytop from the ground up, adding blue (teal) suede on the upper, black perforated leather along the sides/heel, and white stitching outlining the entire shoe. However, the highlight of the design is the gold zippers decorating the side panels and the matching gold eyelets along the ankle. The custom sneakers are topped off with a pair of black, waxed laces. If you’re a fan of Supra Footwear, then I ‘m sure you will agree that these should be on store shelves ASAP!

Nike “Lost Boys” Terminators (Vintage) Customs

Nike Lost Boys Terminators (Vintage) CustomsBespoke Sneaker Gallery presents these custom Nike Terminators (Vintage) which were inspired by the 1987 cult classic, Lost Boys. The Vintage Nike Terminators allowed Bespoke to retell the story of David (Kiefer Sutherland) and his tribe of teenage vampires whom terrorized their small town in California. Bespoke also wanted the customs to display an authentic representation of 1987 (when the film released) as well as a look of it being a prop in the movie, and this Vintage Nike Terminators (originally released in 1985) gave them that desired style. The custom sneaker consists of bright red bite marks along the upper cushioning and lower heel,  scratches around the toe, pale tones to represent a freshly bitten victim, and black tones for the Gothic Motorcycle Gang. Bespoke reports that this is the first half of their project, so stay tuned for more. See detailed pictures and the movie trailer to “The Lost Boys” after the jump.

Nike “808s & Heartbreak” Air Force 1 (One) Customs

Nike 808s & Heartbreak Air Force 1 (One) CustomsKaws’, a New York artist that once freelanced for Walt Disney, is best known in the sneaker culture for his contributions toward brands like Nike, Bathing Ape, and Vans, but in the purist of fusing art, hip hop and pop culture he teamed up with Kanye West to shock the masses. Kaws’ created this amazing art montage of colorful cartoon-like images (pictured to the left) for Kanye’s fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak. He also supplied a special alternate cover for the iTunes only version of the album that recently released on Dec. 16th.

Inspired by Kaws’ 808s & Heartbreak artwork, Mache & emmanueLabor went to work creating a pair of custom sneakers that Kanye West himself would call Amazing! The shoe of choice was the classic all-white Nike Air Force 1…..with emmanueLabor tackling the front half while Mache held down the back. The same white/grey/black plaid fabric from Kanye’s suit can be found on the lacing area, toe, and sides with the tongues showing off some red broken hearts.  The heel and Nike swoosh contrast nicely, flowing right into the colorful artwork that surrounded Kanye. See detailed pictures after the jump and the audio to Kanye’s song “Amazing.
