The shoes were customized by Jason Lee, a Las Vegas based artist/designer for the DeepCover Clothing Line. Here we present you with three of his latest custom sneakers: Cult Classic, Purple Shield, and Tiger Army. The “Cult Classic” features a nice purple, teal, and black colorway which combine for one sick custom. The kicks also include a nice striped denim design used for the heel, a yellow swoosh with clashes well, and a custom lace cover with the DeepCover logo. The “Purple Shield” uses a combination of purple and black in its over all color scheme, including a black denim back panel, a gold swoosh, and another custom lace cover with the DeepCover logo. The last shoe, the “Tiger Army”, throws in a twist with a wonderful tiger pattern, featuring a funky off white colorway and, of course, black to complete the tiger pattern….with the shoe being made entirely out of hemp. However, the lace cover on this shoe stands out from the rest, using gold and black to create a mysterious women, which seems to be sporty the traditional wrappings of Middle Eastern women. TTK calls these the AquaTTK Adventure. The person who commissioned him for the kicks was actually a scuba diver. He listened to The Avalanches-Since I Left You, Prodigy- Return of the Mac , and Nas- Lost Tapes (A great CD in my opinion.) on repeat for 11 hours while working on other the shoe…….and this is what he ended up with… Read the rest of this entry »
