Nike [Jordunk] Custom Sneaker + Box

Nike [Jordunk] Custom Sneaker + Box

ILLEGO just finished up another crazy custom sneaker project, with him creating his own vision of what a collaboration of an Air Jordan III (3) and Nike Dunk would look like. The sneaker features a black colorway with red accents throughout the shoe, and the original tongue and “Nike Air” back pieces from one of his four 2001 Air Jordan 3s. The toe-box and heel sports charcoal denim flocked with elephant pattern to give a velvet finish to it. ILLEGO also included a custom made Air Jordan Box constructed with the same fabric he used on the Nike [Criminal Minded] Air Force Ones, and the box has a Jumpman logo and his name in red stitching. Nike [Dragonball] Dunk Customs

Nike [Dragonball] Dunk Customs

Drangnball Z has to be my all time favorite cartoon growing up as a kid, never missing a single episode like a lot other kids. But, most people forget about the the original series Drangonball, where Goku, Bulma, and the whole gang were still just kids. S!TZO recently got the honor of depicting the cartoon series on a pair of Nike Dunks for an Anime Fan. The sneakers feature the almighty Dragon, Shenron, wrapping around the front of the custom sneaker and a young Goku in the background and there’s even a few of Dragonballs spread through out the shoe. Outside of the designs, the dunk sports a red, pink, and black colorway with a blue Nike Swoosh and S!TZO tops off the sneakers with his trademark lace tag. Also, for those fellow Drangonball fans out there, next year there’s suppose to be an actual Drangonball movie coming out…so check for it. More pictures after the jump.

Nike [Im In Chains] Air Force One Customs (Made For Jay-Z)

Nike [Im In Chains] Air Force One Customs (Made For Jay-Z)

The other day we showed off the Custom [Paradise] Dunks Memphis Bleek had Qustom Queen create while in the UK. But, since Jay-Z liked the quality of Bleek’s customs so much he had these made up for himself, the Nike [Im In Chains] Air Force One Customs. The sneakers feature a clean golden brown colorway on a patent leather upper and a solid gold Nike swoosh. The side panels and toe-box sport a black background with gold chains which appears to be wrapping themselves around the sneakers. Jay-Z said he really liked the custom sneakers and called Qustom Queen talented, at least that’s what Bleek told her, because Jay-Z didn’t get a chance to meet up with her in person. Nike [Paradise] Dunk Hi Custom (Made for Memphis Bleek)

Qustom Qutom is probably the most well known female customizer around and has a true talent for creating some sick custom sneakers and even custom pumps. Recently, she made a pair of Nike [Paradise] Dunk Hi’s for Memphis Bleek when he traveled to the UK along side Jay-Z on his last tour. The entire sneaker was created in the form of a paradise island, including a grassy landscape area, a nice sunset in the background, and two palm trees swaying in the wind. Nike [Criminal Minded] Air Force One Customs

Illego has provided us with a pair of sick custom sneakers which were inspired by the Etnies Plus Rocksteady Hi sneaker. The shoe sports an interesting spin on the Nike Air Force One, using a system on three straps that give you the idea that the sneakers are in a straight jacket. The customs feature a black colorway on a patent leather upper that has a very subtle blueish shimmer in bright lights. The straps are made of carbon fiber on the outside and has a purple and black snakes skin pattern on the other side. The Nike swoosh and the tongue has purple stitching and there’s purple quilted fabric on the back of the tongue. More pictures after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »

Nike [Swamp Thing] Dunk High Customs

Nike [Swamp Thing] Dunk High Customs

Here are the new ‘Swamp Thing’ customs designed by Sekure D based on the graphic novels by Alan Moore. This custom project took on a life of it’s own, with Sekure D spending over a month of his time carefully designing this custom sneaker. The artwork puts you directly in the setting of one of Alan Moore’s books, outlined with a strong focus on the shadows of the vines and roots as well as the depth of ground behind the vines and flowers. This pair of customs were created as a personal project by Sekure D and will not be up for sell on his website. But, the sneakers will instead travel with him to a few different exhibitions so you people can check them out in person because he believes these photos do not do the sneakers justice. More pictures after the jump.
