Due to the overwhelming praise Robert Indiana received for his iconic “Love” sculpture and artwork, Converse is reaching out to him to do an official collaboration, uniting the “Love” artwork with the timeless Chuck Taylor.

The project will birth two new Chuck Taylor designs, a mid-cut and a high-top model. The Chuck Taylor Low features the word “Love” printed in black all-over the upper, while the  Chuck Taylor High uses  a replica of the “Love” artwork on the side panel, back heel, and also along the midsole. Indiana’s signature will also be written on either the shoe’s insole or tongue.

The Converse x Robert Indiana “Love” Chuck Taylor Pack is scheduled to release in Spring 2010.

About a year ago, we posted this Lupe Fiasco x Product (RED) Converse, assuming that it would release sometime later in that year, but sadly it never appeared at any of the Converse retailers. However, we’re know happy to report that they’re finally available to the public.

The Lupe Fiasco x Product (RED) Converse features a predominantly black patent leather upper, white midsole, stain sockliner, and hints of red on the top two eyelets, tougne, and along the sole. This sneaker is now available on DavidZ. Retail $100.
