Air Jordan (I) 1 / XX3 (23) Fusion Black/Metallic Silver-Varsity

Air Jordan (I) 1 / XX3 (23) Fusion Black/Metallic Silver VarsityIt appears the Air Jordan Force Fusion series was just the beginning for Jordan Brand and their hybrid shoe experiments, because the brand has now decided to fuse together two of  their own sneaker models, the Air Jordan I (1) and the Air Jordan XX3 (23).

Featuring the silhouette of  the AJ1 and detailing of the AJ23, this new hybrid model, which goes by the name Air Jordan (I) 1 / XX3 (23) Fusion, tries to offer the best of each Jordan shoe. The most noticeable detail is the netting from the AJ23 that wraps around the side & heel, the toe area & base of the AJ1, and the addition of a  translucent swoosh.

I doubt this new model will be popular (or even tolerated)  with many Jordanheads, but we won’t see a real response until they release in stores next year (2010). Retail $150.

Air Jordan I (1) Black/Red-Gold | Leroy Smith

Air Jordan I (1) Black/Red Gold | Leroy SmithThe “Leroy Smith” Air Jordan I (1) was inspired by the motivational guru that transformed Micheal Jordan from a scrawny high school hopper into a legendary pro basketball player. Leroy Smith (aka Charlie Murphy) is a worldwide source of hope and empowerment for all aspiring B-ball players, motivating the stars of tomorrow through his tapes and website (GetYourBasketballOn.com).

The shoe’s design was based entirely on Leroy’s trademark warm-up suit, featuring a clash of multiple colors. Most of the shoe is covered in black and red leather with a two-tone striped pattern on the side panels, sections of black fabric to match Leroy’s hair, contrast stitching, and a gum sole. Additional features include, a custom Leroy Smith tongue tag and Leroy’s 3 pillars of success (Motivize, Pulverize, and Realize) imprinted in gold around the back.

Now Available at CitySole. Retail $135.

Air Jordan Spiz’ike Black/Infrared | 2010 Release

Air Jordan Spiz’ike Black/Infrared | 2010 ReleaseThe Jordan Spiz’ike is one of the most popular hybrid models among Jordan Brand fans, with 10 colorways already released, so it’s no surprise there’s another colorway coming our way.

This new design was originally reported as a creation of DJ Clark Kent (the infamous DJ / Nike Designer)  by Osneaker, but after a little snooping around, the information turned out to be FALSE.

The sneaker features a black, white, and infrared color scheme with all the usually Jordan Spiz’ike textures: off white elephant print around the toe & heel, mesh side panels, black suede upper, an air unit in the heel, and a strip of glossy red canvas along the midsole. Also, royal blue accents can be found on the Jumpman logo and the heel tab.

Expect to see the “Black/Infrared” Jordan Spiz’ike in stores something in Spring/Summer 2010 (May), but for now you can pre-order a pair over at Osneaker.

Air Jordan 2010 (XXV) Black/Varsity Red

Air Jordan 2010 (XXV) Black/Varsity RedThe Air Jordan 2010 (aka AJXXV) is expected to carry on the long legacy of Jordan Brand with it’s release scheduled for sometime next year. The  release celebrates Jordan Brand’s 25th anniversary, marking 25 years of supplying some the most sought after sneakers of our time.

This particular model has  a predominately black upper, a grey midsole, and various red accents.  Incorporated in the design is an interesting mixture of materials that range from suede on the toe area & heel, perforated material on the sides, and glossy canvas along the sides. Oddly enough, there’s also an over sized black Jumpman logo on one side and a futuristic “23″ on the other,  an embroidered red Jumpman logo on the tongue, and some ridged designs around the midsole.

Since the shoe doesn’t officially hit store shelves until next year, this design could easily change between now and the release date, so stay tuned for more updates.  Click here to see detailed side view photos of the Air Jordan 2010.
