On eBay: Air Jordan Retro I (1) High Strap [A Tribe Called Quest]

This pass weekend the Air Jordan Retro I (1) High Strap [A Tribe Called Quest] made it’s first appearance online, and now less than a week later we’ve discovered some detailed pictures and found a few pairs already up for auction on eBay.

This Air Jordan I (1) High Strap offers a rough black leather upper, a black patent leather Nike swoosh, and green/red/black fabric on the side panels and strap inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s cover for their Midnight Marauders album.

The Air Jordan Retro I (1) High Strap “A Tribe Called Quest” should start appearing on stores shelves at select Jordan Brand retailers on January 31st, 2009. However, if you want to buy your pair know then check the auctions on eBay.

Just last week we shared a glimpse of the next Air Jordan model of the fusion force line, the Air Jordan Fusion Forces IV (4). Now, thanks to Nicekicks, we would like to present some detailed pictures of the “Fire Red” Air Jordan Fusion Forces IV (4) model aka the Air Jordan Fusion 4 Bred.

This version yields a white leather upper, black accents on the sides, back heel, and tongue as well as a red Jumpman on the tongue tags, black threading on the midsole, and hints of red around the midsole, lacing area, and heel. The “Fire Red” Air Jordan Fusion Forces IV (4) is expected to release Fall / Winter 2009.

The female Jordan fans already have the “Lola” Air Jordan 1 High lined up for April 2009 but Jordan Brand is also dropping this clean “Purple/White” Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap.

The sneaker dons a 100% nylon upper and coupled with a transparent purple Nike swoosh, and white accents on the strap & midsole. In addition, there’s a multi-colored pattern covering the inner lining and a detailed lacelocks included. Now available at select Air Jordan retailers like Vault.

Jordan Brand has another Air Jordan 2009 colorway in the works and this time it’s in a Chicago inspired Black / Varsity Red – White color scheme. The upper features a glossy black leather, section of white leather along the heel & sole, and small traces of red on the bottom sole.

With more models still set to release, many nay-sayer might start changing their opinion on the Air Jordan 2009’s design and except them into their Jordan Brand family . This particular colorway is scheduled to drop on March 4th, 2009 at a retail price of $190 but Sole-Locker have a few in-stock for $230. See detailed pictures after the jump.

A Tribe Called Quest x Air Jordan I (1) Hi Strap

Inspired by the hip hop group “A Tribe Called Quest”, Jordan Brand is planning to drop this Air Jordan I (1) Retro High Strap. This sneaker contains a black leather upper with black/red/green graphics covering the side panels, toe, tongue, and ankle strap as well as a patent leather Nike swoosh.

In addition, hints of red are found on the bottom sole and the lining of the tongue. It’s now being rumored that the A Tribe Called Quest x Air Jordan 1 Hi Strap is scheduled to release at select Jordan retailers on January 31st, 2009. Retail $110.
