Nike Sportswear and Maharam, a family orientated distributor of textile fabrics, are coming together to produce this one-of-a-kind Maharam x Nike 1World Air Force 1 (One).

The Maharam x Nike 1World Air Force 1 is covered with a multi-layered upper composed of Maharam’s signature wool fabrics  and abstract symbols/shapes displayed in red stitching. In addition, the midsole yeilds an olive/brownish color with a solid black bottom sole,  and leather-like material on the tongue tags and inner lining.  For the time being, information in regards to the shoe’s official release date is still unknown, but sure to check back for more updates.

With Black History Month just around the corner (February 2009), Nike is planning to give a select number of people a pair of  these special “Black History Month” Air Force (1) Ones. Only individuals that have shown great leadership in their communities will get the honor of receiving a pair, so don’t expect to see them in-stores.

This Air Force (1) One features a predominantly black leather upper with a  black patent leather  Nike swoosh, green threading on the midsole, red threading on the upper, and red and green fabric on the interior lining. The sneaker also has laser graphics imprinted along the sides, and includes  a special black bag marked with Nike’s 100 Year  logo and a nice quote.

Nike is give their Air Force 1 (One) model a whole new look come Fall 2009.

This Nike Air Force 1 (One) Supreme containing 3M reflective materials, air unit, translucent midsole,  and a sleek black inner lining is set to drop later this year.  There’s no word of a release date or if this will be a limited release, so stay tuned for more info.

Earlier we previewed this Nike Air Force 1 (One) in our preview of the Nike Sportswear Spring 2009 Collection, but now we’re able to provide some detailed pictures. This Womens’ Nike AF1 yields a sleek croc-like, pearlescent Mica pattern on the upper with small hints of red on the tongue tag and heel. This sneaker offers a unique new design strictly for the female sneakerheads out there and is now available at select Nike retailers.
