Adidas Centennial Mid   Celtics & CavsDuring the late 80’s and early 90’s the Adidas Centennial Mid was a popular basketball shoe among players, and now it appears Adidas is bringing it back to honor two top contenders of  the upcoming NBA season, the Boston Celtics and the Cleveland Cavs.

The Centennial Mid features a predominantly suede upper with leather on the three stripes along the side panels and also on the back heel. Both shoes have a two tone color scheme, one in green/black and the other in orange/blue. The tongue of each model sports an over-sized old school logo, and both have a solid white midsole and matching laces.

The Adidas Centennial Mid is now available in both colorways at most Adidas Originals retailers. Retail $80.

Adidas TS Cut Creator   Rose / Billups / ArenasEvery NBA season marks the debut of the latest basketball shoes of players all over the league. During the pre-season we get a glimpse at some of the models as teams fine tune their rosters  and evaluate match-ups.

With the 2009-10 NBA season just around the corner, Adidas is releasing their TS Cut Creator model in the team colors of Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls) , Chauncey Billups (Denver Nuggets), and Gilbert Arenas aka Agent Zero (Washington Wizards).

The Adidas TS Cut Creator was created with the idea of increasing speed by enhancing the player’s natural movements, allowing most guards to cut faster and get to the hoop with ease. The shoe features three horizontal stripes on the heel for extra ventilation, plastic netting, and Foremotion technology for improved handling and stability.

The Adidas TS Cut Creator is now available at Adidas retailers like Eastbay, Footlocker, and Finishline. Retail $110.

Adidas Forum Mid – Yellow/Black/White

Adidas Forum Mid – Yellow/Black/WhiteAdidas just released this Forum Mid in a yellow, black, white colorway. The shoes give off a bumblebee-esqe theme with it’s yellow and black leather upper, some could even say it resembles the old Wu-Tang days of the early 90’s. Besides the shoe’s heavy usage of black/yellow, sections of white can be found on the midsole and on the Adidas logo placed on the ankle straps.

This “Yellow/Black/White” Forum Mid is now available at Adidas retailers like  Eastweastworldwide.

Adidas Grun Recycle Pack | Holiday 2009

Adidas Grun Recycle Pack | Holiday 2009Adidas is rolling out with some eco freindly shoes for their Holiday 2009 collection. Following up their Grun series from this past Summer, the brand is set to drop a Grun Recycle Pack.

These sneakers feature all-natural materials that include recycled fabrics, rubber, and other details like, vegetable-tanned leather and special insoles to give them a unique look and feel. Adidas has really taken their time with all the details and plan to release  two different models, a Superstar 2 and a Forum Mid. Both styles yield a fabric/leather upper containing various highlights: red, blue, orange, and tan.

The Grun Recycle Pack is now available at Adidas retailers such as Eastwestworldwide.

Adidas Skateboarding | Spring 2010 FootwearAdidas has a plethora of new skateboarding models in various colors and styles for their upcoming Spring 2010 Collection. A total of ten different models will release which will include the new signature Dennis Busenitz pro sneakers as well as new designs  for the Tim O’Connor, Pete Eldridge, Silas Baxter-Neal and Mark Gonzales signature shoes.

Most of the collection will hit stores in early January 2010 while a hand full of kicks will trickle down to the retailers during the remainder of  the season. See detailed pictures after the jump.

Young Jeezy x Adidas: Snowman Sneaker

In the past couple months, Adidas recruited hip hop artist Young Jeezy aka “The Snowman”, and several other celebrities for a series of viral ads.  During that time frame, Young Jeezy and Adidas  grew a strong friend ship and now plan to release an exclusive “Snowman” Adidas shoe.

In the video above, Jeezy is in the studio wth his new artist Bo and Dj Toomp and gives us a preview of the Snowman shoe, stating that it’s not in stores yet. Until now, there was no word of a Young Jeezy x Adidas sneaker, so all we can do is wait as more details surface.
