On Saturday, October 24th, the “Rising Sun” Air Jordan Retro XII (12) was suppose to be released, but due a mistake made on the artwork of the insoles, Jordan Brand decided to have them re-called and stopped the release. Some people were still able to get a pair from either a shop that disobeyed Jordan’s request or from an online store like eBay. However, Jordan Brand is now giving everyone a chance to get a pair with the announcement of the new release date.
The “Rising Sun” Air Jordan Retro 12 will officially release at Jordan retailers everywhere on November 21, 2009. The sneaker will feature the same all-white design, while the only difference will be the insoles. The new shoes will have a plain white insole with just a red Jumpman logo, but all the models that were sold before the re-call will showcase the Japanese Rising Sun Flag.
